Hi! My name is Ultan Black, and I am a senior Computer Science major and Cybersecurity Management minor here at Miami. I am honored to be serving as the team’s president this year. I'm originally from Chicago, IL where I rowed for New Trier High School for 4 years. I joined MURC at the beginning of my freshman year and could not be more grateful for this team and the friends I've made through this club!

Hi! My name is Erin Wadzinski and I am Vice President this year! I am a junior from Cary, Illinois double majoring in Psychology and Strategic Communication. I joined MURC my freshman year after meeting an upperclassman rower who took me under her wing and encouraged me to join. Although I'd never rowed before college, I immediately fell in love with the sport and our team. I couldn't be more grateful for all of the wonderful memories and people that MURC has given me.

Hi! I’m Lili Cortes, and I am a sophomore art history and theater major from Cleveland, Ohio! I am so excited to be the women’s team captain for this year! I joined MURC to continue my rowing career and to make new friends. I am so thankful for this team and everyone on it!!

Salutations, I am Noah Yanich, and I am Quantitative Economics. I am from Powell, Ohio. This year I am the Men’s Captain, I joined MURC because I’ve been rowing since 8th grade and I knew that I wanted to continue in college. Fun fact, humans are technically fish because of how taxonomical clades work.

Hello! My name is David Weber and I am a Senior Accounting and Finance major from Broadview Heights, Ohio! It is my pleasure to serve as treasurer for my second term during my Senior year! I decided to join the team my freshman year to try a new sport and I instantly loved it. I have met most of my closest friends through the team and I have developed a competitive edge as a rower. I’m excited to serve this team as well as demonstrate my passion and dedication for the sport! Viva MURC!

Hi everyone! My name is Liam McKernan, and I am MURC's Regatta Coordinator! I am a Psychology major at Miami with a minor in Spanish. This will be my third season on the team, and I am beyond excited to serve MURC. I joined MURC because of my parents, who rowed for the team when they were at Miami. I have grown to love the team that they have talked so highly about for so long. Outside of rowing, I love to go explore, swim, and run!

Hello, my name is Sean Petrovich and I am a senior mechanical engineering major from Morganville, New Jersey. I am the acting equipment manager for MURC. I am in charge of making sure everything is functioning properly and all maintenance. I’m also in charge of getting our boats and equipment to and from regattas using our trailer. I am so excited to work with all my friends this year on our new exec and chairs board.

Hi! I'm Megan Conrad, a senior psychology student from Chesterland Ohio. This is my fourth year on the team and before MURC I had no experience with rowing. I saw the table at mega-fair my freshman year and decided to give it a go on a whim. I am beyond grateful for the friends and experiences MURC has given me over the years! Outside of the team, my favorite things to do are craft and spend time outside. I'm super excited to serve as this year's secretary!

I joined MURC because rowing has always intrigued me, and I wanted to be part of an active community. Now in my second year on the team, I can confidently say I have met the most remarkable people through rowing—full of comradery and dedication. I hope to contribute positively to the team through my position as External Fundraiser!

Hi everyone! I’m Corinne Griffin and I am originally from tiffin, OH. I am a sophomore at Miami University studying Hospitality Management, and I’m excited to serve as this year’s Publicity Chair. I first heard about MURC after stopping by our table at the Fall Mega Fair (despite having no prior rowing experience)! Now entering my second year as a coxswain, I feel truly honored to take on a leadership role within such a passionate and hardworking crew. I’m looking forward to promoting our club’s achievements and supporting its continued growth throughout the year.

​Hi! I’m Sofia Folchi! I’m a Junior Kinesiology major from Cincinnati, Ohio! I am the current social chair. I joined MURC the second semester of my sophomore year. I would say it has been the best decision I’ve made at Miami! The people I’ve met are some of the best you’ll find. I also love being able to get out on the water after a long day in class. It’s definitely a special feeling!
